This is the Active GPS unit that we offer. Offenders who carry this device also have the transmitter on the right affixed to their ankle with a tamper proof strap. This device uitilizes real-time tracking (active), meaning that a monitoring agency can see where the offender is at any given time. This is possible via the internet on a completely web based system. Inclusion and Exclusion zones can be set up through the website prior to, or after the bracelet is placed on the offender. Information is sent and received through a cellular modem contained within the device. This device also offers the ability to communicate with the offender in the event of a violation.
